Jason Jones - Technical Director:
I would like to take a moment to introduce myself for those of you who I might not have met yet. My name is Jason Jones and I am originally from Peterborough, Ontario where I grew up playing local and rep soccer for Peterborough United. I then moved on to play in various leagues around Southern Ontario including the Oshawa Portuguese and then on into Toronto where I played semi-professional soccer. I played three years of College soccer in Ontario before heading south to the United States where I finished my College playing career. At that point I became involved in coaching and started my United States Soccer Federation coaching certification, and was fortunate enough to take over the College of the Southwest women’s program in 1997. We built the program into a two time conference championship team. Upon returning to Canada in 2002 I arrived in Moose Jaw and have spent time with the Moose Jaw Soccer Association, the University of Regina soccer programs as well as the Saskatchewan Soccer Association High Performance program. In 2011 upon my contract expiring with the MJSA I decided to move full time into coaching and player development, thus was the birth of JJ Soccer in October, 2011. I currently have a United States Soccer Federation A licence/Canada Soccer B licence and a National Soccer Coaches of America Association Advanced National Diploma. I reside in Moose Jaw and have two children Alexis and Parker who both play soccer and basketball. I am looking forward to working with your children and all of our great volunteer coaches in order to provide quality programs for the youth in our community.
