SSA Return to Soccer Plan - Updated June 26, 2020
The Saskatchewan Soccer Association has announced the release of the SSA Return to Soccer Plan for a safe return to soccer within the province.
With support from Canada Soccer, Sask Sport, and other provincial soccer associations, SSA has developed the Return to Soccer Plan (RTSP) to serve as a guide to assist SSA Member Organizations in the safe reintroduction of soccer. The plan uses a multi-phase approach for a thoughtful and cautious return to the pitch.
Effective June 22nd, the Provincial Government has moved to Phase 4.1 of re-opening Saskatchewan, which includes outdoor sports. SSA and all member organizations continue to adhere to all Government of Saskatchewan Public Health regulations and guidelines regarding COVID 19.
JJ Soccer is currently working on a Return to Soccer Plan specific to our programs, to ensure we are prepared for a safe return to the field. Our local Return to Soccer Plan will comply with the SSA Return to Soccer Plan, as well as provincial government recommendations. We will return to soccer in Phase 1 of the SSA's RTSP, and will move through the phases as directed by the governing bodies. More information on our local outdoor programs will be communicated to members as it becomes available.
